Consumers who submit the contact form at heirshiptitle.com/contact may opt in to text messages by checking a separate, optional, unchecked consent checkbox. The checkbox states: “I agree to receive text messages from Heirship Title Solutions about my inquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.” Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service, and the form can be submitted without checking the box. When the box is checked, we record the phone number, the consent selection, the date and time, and the page where consent was given.
Verbal Opt-In Script
During a phone call the consumer is already having with our team about their inherited property, the agent reads this script, word for word: “Is it okay if I text you at this number about your property? You would get occasional messages from Heirship Title Solutions, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.” Messages are sent only if the consumer agrees. Consent is logged in our CRM with the date, time, and agent name.
